The first medium
of a would-be artist is drawing because it is direct and immediate. Adrian Deckbar drew every day
as a youth growing up in the South.
She
worked from life, drawing everything around her. Currently, she is still connected to the beginning
of her artistic inspiration and draws frequently. She also teaches
drawing at Tulane University in New Orleans and immensely enjoys
watching student artists learn the magic of turning a three-dimensional
form into a two-dimensional drawing. For additional information
contact Adrian Deckbar at adriandeckbar@bellsouth.net.
